Life Without Adventure Is A Waste of Oxygen
Venture Crew 159 is chartered through the First United Methodist Church in Woodstock, Illinois. Our Crew started on July 2, 2002. We have re-chartered for 2011. Crew 159 has been a Quality Unit every year since 2002. We currently meet every Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M. in the Venture Room of the Church.
Crew 159 is a “Safe Haven” for all youth.
We are a “General Adventure” crew and participate in climbing, rappelling, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, camping, and general fun. Each year we plan a full schedule of activities consisting of one or two events each month and a super-event each year. We live and operate by the Creed:

Lost Battalion Adventure Base 2012
The Crew will be attending the Lost Battalion Adventure Base (LBAB) at Canyon Camp on July 23 - 26, 2012. The program includes; High Ropes, overnight Mississippi River Canoe trip, Discover SCUBA Diving, and an 8-mile canyoneering river hike.
You can attend one event, two events, three events or all four events. Depending on which events you signup for, you may be spending two nights at Canyon Camp.
